Innovative, But Not As Fun As I Had Hoped

Look: -/10 Sound: -/10

Play: 6/10 It was much more ambiguous of gameplay than Oregon Trail, e.g., how many bushels per person is healthy, etc., but obviously that encourages repeated replays and learning its mechanics (plus I realized it quite clearly says it in-game lol). Play: 6/10 It was much more ambiguous of gameplay than Oregon Trail, e.g., how many bushels per person is healthy, etc., but obviously that encourages repeated replays and learning its mechanics (plus I realized it quite clearly says it in-game lol). Still, the gameplay is ambiguous, I can't think of a better word. I kind of liked the trial and error process, but compared to Oregon Trail, this text simulation vibe wasn't as varied, clever, and exciting--especially with how awesome an idea this could have been, playing Hammurabi!

Feel: 6/10 I like that it reminded me of Miscellania island minigame on OSRS/RSC. But in many ways, it was just basic math calculation simulation on repeat. It seems, and maybe I'm incorrect in this, that repeated playthroughs with the same numbers have almost identical results. I thought there was a bit more RNG aspect other than plagues and other extreme things. Kinda meh all around.

Attachment: 7/10 Simply not fun enough to replay on a later date, but I might. It was fun enough to replay till I ended up reading the text at the beginning for the basic math help heh, so I at least could survive. Maybe someday I will replay so I get the best ending, but for now, nah.
