Not quite as exaggerated as the Watcher, but the character still can do some attacks with such ridiculous damage outputs when played properly. I'm really loving the combat so far. It's really gonna mull me over until Slay the Spire II comes out.

The music is PHENOMENAL, they definitely did most effort on that and I like every music/ambience
The mechanic was a bit weird so went easy to try to mirror a persona game or metaphor game and it does make it more manageable with timing and brought out the fun

Really hoping this doesn't get overshadowed by the hype for the Oblivion remaster and the Switch 2 preorders. I'm very interested in playing this. Just gonna have to try to preorder the Switch 2 on the same day first, work, and then get around to this.

Clair Obscur also looks mechanically and thematically interesting, but does remind me of how much I wish AA studios wouldn't chase visual fidelity and realism. There are fantastical elements depicted, but they still seem very grounded in visual realism. Very reminiscent of AAA fantasy games, and a lot of mainstream fantasy cinema SFX. That said, it does look rather pretty …
