When this game got popular, I wondered why it blew up. Gang Beasts controls like a lobotomized jar of peanut butter, something as simple as walking from one side of the map to the other is a chore, yes, this is on purpose, but purposefully bad controls are still purposefully bad controls. When this game got popular, I wondered why it blew up. Gang Beasts controls like a lobotomized jar of peanut butter, something as simple as walking from one side of the map to the other is a chore, yes, this is on purpose, but purposefully bad controls are still purposefully bad controls. Punching and headbutting work when they feel like it, not great for a fighting game. The map designs range from mildly interesting to frustrating, the ferris wheel map is actually fun but the truck one focuses on "can you stand?" rather than "can you fight?". The graphics are subpar at best, and the soundtrack is incredibly mediocre. I guess I like the various outfits and it still has that indie charm to it, but it's not a very enjoyable experience.

Boring after not boring

This game is peak when you first play it. The game is real goofy which is fun. Unfortunately, this game gets diagnosed with midness once you play it too much. The maps get kinda boring and the gameplay is the same. Wish there were more maps and gameplay modes. Sad.
