This game is breaking me down right now. So much is going on in just a few minutes. It's driving me insane.

Just like Atlus' Persona games, Catherine is just dripping with style. I was on the fence originally about whether or not to get Catherine: Full Body, since I had played the original so much and even went as far as unlocking all the achievements.... but after everything I've seen on the new game, and seeing as how they even went as far as bringing back the original voice actors to either create or expand on previous scenes.... I'm sold. I'm buying this game again lol. I think there's enough new content to justify buying it again, plus it was released back in 2011, so I think it's worth going back into the madness that is Catherine xD.

The story is... I don't know. At the time I remember critics praised the game mature take on mature themes. While I can see that, what I mostly see are the profoundly sexists opinions that almost every character spouts. It's too early to tell, but as far Katherine and Catherine have no personality outside their one-note characteristics of shrewd and carefree, respectively.

I hope this changes and the developers show a more enlightened stance. A remastered and expanded version is coming in about a month and there was some contention that it might portray trans people in a bad light and I would hate for it to be the case.

As predicted, the puzzle-nature of this game was a challenge for me. But the game was just too interesting to pass up. Finished Catherine for the second time. First time I played it I had the normal Katherine ending, second time I got the normal Catherine ending. I love the puzzles and story, they really need to make more games like this.

I was perhaps halfway through the game before I took a very long break, so I'm counting this as backlog since I do plan to finish it one day.

Started Catherine. This game is awful, but I'm compelled to complete it. I'd much rather have just watched it as a movie. Playing it on easy and it's still extremely frustrating. Real shame that a compelling story is bogged down by such piss poor gameplay,
