With so many colaborations with media franchises (Avengers, John Wick, Borderlands, now Batman), Fortnite is gonna turn into the Funko Pop of videogames.

I'm not a Fortnite player (I tried it and liked it, but I'm not good at all so I abandoned it... several times). But I just watched the 'Robot vs Kaiju' event in a stream and it was more epic and exciting that I expected.

Yo can say a lot of bad things about the way Epic Games uses microtransactions and gaas, but the way they handle events is 10/10.

I've played this game since December 24th, 2017 but my addiction fell off at the start of Season 5 and I only rarely play anymore now. It's a good thing I have spent so much money on skins. This was the first game where I really crossed the line with cosmetics. Despite the hate it gets because it is popular, I think it's undeniable that it is a well developed and enjoyable game. I'm marking it was played as I have played it in 2019.
