Used to play so much online on this game. The gliders were such a cool introduced mechanic and I really enjoyed all the courses. Collecting all the cart customizations was a chore but very fun. The best course was 100% rainbow road but shoutouts to music park and dk jungle.

I actually beat this game more than a week before the release date because Nintendo had an official 3DS/WiiU kiosk at a local shopping mall around this time. The kiosk contained full versions of Mario Kart 7, and I went at a non-busy time so I could play all 8 cups in 150cc and reach the credits eventually.

I always love a good Mario Kart game and this one didn't disappoint. Played a lot of this one on my 3DS, both single and multiplayer.

And as a Mario Kart game, this one delivered with great memories amongst me and my friends in the 7th grade. All of us would bring our 3DS' to a morning table and just play the game usually watching a specific one of our friends rage quit bringing laughter throughout the group. There is nothing extremely spectacular or entertaining like Mario Kart 8 had brought to the Wii U and Switch. Just standard Mario Kart that is fun as Hell.

My only complaint with Mario Kart 7 for 3DS would be the lack of characters. I get perhaps it's because it's a handheld game but then again they do have a ton of carts you can use, so. I don't know. I don't think I'll ever like another Mario Kart more than Double Dash. Still fun though!
