I have no idea what the solution to anything is yet but I do know that Beatrice is the greatest character in the history of fiction.

This is one of the more highly-acclaimed visual novel games out there. It has an interesting initial setup, and I like the characters and some of their banter with one another, but I don't know if I can stomach 100+ hours of this writing. It's not that it's slow and character-driven, it's specifically that it constantly repeats itself in a way that makes the less plot-heavy scenes feel sluggish and annoying. Sometimes it feels like the writer forgot they already said something. Some of the humor is run into the ground quickly as well. I hate to miss out on what I'm sure is an interesting story, but I feel like I'd need an edited-down version for it to fully hold my attention. Some people are just built different and can sit through this kind of stuff lol

Sometimes I think they dragged out some explanations too long, or the wind up to the giant to-dos took too long, but overall I really enjoyed this. Solid storytelling, character wise, even though some of the plot makes me scratch my head. Looking forward to the answer arcs!
