Oddsparks is a fairly typical factory/automation game. You start with a simple loop and it becomes increasingly complex. The only real twist is the fantasy setting. For some reason this clicked more with me than most similar games, perhaps because it looks quite nice and isn't super busy/noisy. The absence of literal assembly lines probably helps too, i've worked at a bunch of them so they have a negative influence on my enjoyment of a game.
But even though i played this for much longer than i expected, at some point i got to a part where i had to set up another tree processing line and i just didn't feel like it. But if you do like this genre, you can probably deal with the annoying transportation system (workers stick to the right side of the path) and the fast travel system having to be refueled to work.
