the game is a very solid improvement over the original with lots of things that were resolved over the original. I can't describe how great it was to not flip flop throughout the track because of a traffic bump or from other cars. the customizations were greatly expanded upon and the 'Underground' feel of this game is much better.

Rubber-banding is still awful, but less crazy, and you have much more room to workaround it.

I'm really biased about this game because I grew up playing this game and revisiting it was nothing but a pleasure. Even though there were some bugs I still lover every bit of this game. Even though I'm a huge fan of story based games and the fact that you couldn't really feel that you were following the certain story I still understand that the game wasn't about that, it was purely focused on the whole purpose of racing games, racing, driving experience as well as car costumization. Not to mention, this is the Need For Speed game that introduced free foram based to the franchise.
