This game is perfectly fine, but I truly won't remember it in a couple months from now. In a world with so many roguelites, and roguelites in a Hades-like lense (which this one is), this game doesn't really do anything to stand out. The actual combat feels very light and not satisfying. The boss fights are fine, but the final boss is just an annoyingly large difficulty spike.
I think the "upgrade" mechanic with like the match 3 stuff is actually a pretty cool gimmick and is the one thing I will give the game that it does well. Now the actual upgrades themselves aren't the most interesting, but the mechanic is so interesting that I give it a pass.
Everything miscl wise is fine. Graphics are nice looking, UI and music is fine, characters are fine. It's just as an overall package, there is nothing particularly special, and it's not like the core game is good enough to where it can get away with that. It's a fine Gamepass Roguelite game, but seeing how as I only played this because it is leaving Gamepass, I don't think there is much of a reason to actually buy this. Solid 6/10.
