Very promising and aesthetically pleasing, *BUT*
I enjoyed this game a lot for first 3-4 hours, it has nice visual representation, satisfying combat and interesting mix of rogue-like, dynamic action fps and even souls-like elements. Now to the sad part. Witchfire has straight up disgusting auto-leveling system, after about 30th level all enemies turn into bullet sponges and good half of regular enemies you run into turn into special ones with so many ways to slow, concuss or blow you up, that you won't understand how that happened most of the time. With this Witchfire really dropped the ball in my eyes, combined with fact that the game doesn't feel rewarding enough, enemy minions seem to grow in power way more than Preyer getting another +20 hp or +10% to witchfire gain with level ups.
I would gladly return to this game and give it another try
