Bloons TD6 is a massive game, sometimes overwhelmingly so, but the amount of game here for cheap (often very cheap during many steam sales) is super impressive. The game is designed with a lot of the trappings of free-to-play mobile games with the micro transactions to boot but I think anyone who spends money on this game (other than deliberately to support the devs) really needs to avoid any game with any micro transactions because they are completely unnecessary in this game. This is coming from someone who is usually very tempted to pay for short cuts, I was never once tempted with this game.

Back to the game itself, this is a wonderful evolution of the game I played on internet browsers in middle school. Its a simple tower defense game made interesting by the interactions between the large roster of towers, each with three different tracks of upgrades that have 5 different abilities each. This leads to a lot of different strategies to use and try out and keeps the game from getting stale. The real crown on top though is the Heroes, special towers that level up as the games go on and really change how you approach levels and synergize with different towers. That's not even mentioning the dozens and dozens of maps, special events, and more.

This is a top tier "second monitor" game (a game that's great to play while you watch or read stuff on the other monitor) and a good way to kill some time. It's mostly enjoyable to get all the steam achievements as well with one VERY large exception, aka the only achievement I don't have yet at the time of writing, do 365 challenges. You can do 2 challenges a day, plus 1 extra one every 3 days. That means it takes over 6 months of playing every single day to get this, crazy. It's cool it's named after a youtuber who makes guides for the game but that single achievement sucks.

Monkey pop bloon, serotonin

This is specifically for the Steam release: Game is amazing, and honestly isn't solely Pay to Win, or Pay for extra content. A lot of people might think so, but the game, with enough grinding, gives you enough Monkey Money to enjoy the entire game without fail. This is specifically for the Steam release: Game is amazing, and honestly isn't solely Pay to Win, or Pay for extra content. A lot of people might think so, but the game, with enough grinding, gives you enough Monkey Money to enjoy the entire game without fail. This is an outstanding game in the series, and has been given a lot of love as well as continues to get content as time goes on.

mm... monkey

i like the new artstyle and the games a pretty good way to burn some time while listening to music or podcasts or lets plays or whatever in the background.

unfortunately the xp / progression system in this game is somehow even worse than dead by daylights, if you can even imagine that
