Lunistice really surprised me. The levels are fun and varied with plenty of secrets, the 32-bit aesthetic is well executed, and the soundtrack is very catchy. But more than anything, it feels really good to control. I'd recommend it to fans of Sonic or Spyro the Dragon.
I almost never find 3D cameras to be an issue, but the miserable camera in the demo for this started giving me a headache within like 15 minutes of play. Making even the slightest turn causes the camera to rotate towards your new heading, so the frame is constantly juddering left and right as you run around, it's awful. I gotta go take a tylenol now.
Edit: Ah okay, they released an update for the full game that supposedly smooths out the camera movement, so maybe that's less nauseating.
