Getting close to 400 played games and I just keep thinking about this one, a 15min HL2 extra level that is classified as a different product. Any other game would've this under the "Extras" tab but not Valve. Same thing with the multiplayer component. Never understood why they do stuff like this. Mr. Newell, as always, works in mysterious ways.

Beat on Hard. For some reason I never played this back in 2008 when I played the rest of the game and only played it now in 2020. I was excited at first thinking it was another episode, but no it is just a short level. I found the level to be a significant challenge due to much of the combat taking place on that cliff face with enemies coming from forward, back, above AND below. Probably some of the most challenging (or cheap) combat of the entire game. While it has the same mastercrafting of the rest of the game, it is just a short level and does not showcase everything Half Life 2 has to offer.
