I got a set of "typing games" from the Steam sale for like a dollar because it came with Epistory (which is a really beautiful game). I'm almost finished with the game and decided to put it on here cause I'm honestly really loving it.

This one is is a word puzzle game. You are given a set of letters, and you have to come up with as many words as you can from that set before the time runs out. Each word you form gives you certain points (with special tiles that have powerups, and you can get extras from your armor and weapon and potions) and if you score more than the enemy you are fighting, you win! Otherwise the enemy kills you.

Because you have a keyboard and aren't on your phone, the pace is FAST. It's so fun?? I've played word scramble mobile games but they were more aboout careful thinking. This is just - spam the keyboard with every possible word combo because you have 30 seconds to defeat this giant minotaur. HAHA.

It also has chests and a hangman minigame that pop up sometimes to get extra rewards. And boss battles always have special challenges. Sometimes there are like, "battle scenes" where a lot of enemies charge at you, and it becomes a typing game where you just type whatever words you see as fast as you can. Those are so boring. This game really excels at the puzzle aspect... when it tries to be a straight typing game, it becomes repetitive and dull.

If you like word games, you should check this out! It's pretty cheap and simple, and a lot of fun!
