I wanted to enjoy this a lot more, but progression felt too slow and for some reason my mate and I couldn't maintain a connection on Xbox. We've played a lot of games without any issues but for some reason we couldn't stay connected past the second world. Such a shame, I was enjoying this in small bursts.

It's fine. Quickly loses its appeal as you start to fall in to patterns of what's most effective. Poor translation and very deep mechanics are not a good combo.

This game will be really fun for a select group of people. Those who like shooter rpgs with lots of guns and roguelikes. I like those so it is quite fun. If you're not in that group it probably won't do too much for you.
Also, don't expect anything besides gameplay. The story is basically nonexistant.

This one has persistent upgrades, over Roboquest (which doesn't, AFAIK).They're pretty similar though.

I threw a session of this out there since it was on Gamepass and gave it a go.
I thought it had some interesting elements, and liked the first person feel to it, but just didn't like something about the general play loop and ultimately decided it wasn't for me right now.
Maybe I'll check back in on it some …

at first it kind of sucks ass but then u get used to it and unlock some stupid bullshit. after too long it gets kinda boring though cuz it becomes pretty much the same thing over and over.
still pretty fun with friends though

Slay the Spire may have taken back the crown as my favorite rogue game (Sorry, Hades), but a looter shooter roguelite that makes you constantly switch weapons because of Borderlands-like weaknesses? This is THE rogue game that was made for me.
