Overhyped. This is literally madden with a reskin. People were saying it’s a whole different game. I will admit though. It is the best madden since madden 20 I think. The career mode is very fun.

This game is fun to play. But, compared to the prior releases 10 years ago... voice lines have less variety, there are fewer game modes, and those game modes have less customization. Also, cross-play only applies to some of the game modes. This game is EA to the core, so I hope they don't somehow make it unplayable to incentivize …

This game is EA to the core, so I hope they don't somehow make it unplayable to incentivize me into buying the 2026 version, because I won't be buying another copy for quite a while. I'll have fun playing this for many years, but it won't keep me from being disappointed in the half-baked product that was released after 3 years of EA teasing improvements.

This game is every single thing I hoped it would be after waiting a decade for its return.
It plays just like the NCAA College Football games of old. After about 30 minutes of playing, it was just like riding a bike - I felt the muscle memory in my fingers coming back, and I was suddenly calling audibles and hot routes how I used to.
The gameplay is 10/10 - does not feel like Madden. It really feels just like the old games.
At the moment, I can't say much for Road to Glory or the new Ultimate Team mode, but I can tell you the Dynasty mode has already devoured any of my free time. Recruiting players and finding those players that are hidden gems is every bit as addicting as it used to be.
Another feature I've explored in Dynasty mode are the new coaching XP upgrades. As you win games, you'll get XP to spend in different coaching categories - some will give your players offseason training boosts, some will give you in-game boosts, some will help you recruit faster and more efficiently, etc.
If you were a fan of the old games, this one is a must.
