On the outside the game has everything going for it - beautifully stylised visuals, atmospheric sound and an interesting storyline - but on the inside it's riddled with bad design choices that could have easily been avoided with a bit of extra thought from the devs.

Phantom Dust is kind of weird, and even beyond its weirdness its a mishmashy oddly paced adventure.
But even in its prime it was sold for a bargain and nowadays its free on Xbox and the Microsoft Game Store. If you like weird, card games, or sci fi, its worth a play.
