This entry is very slow paced for a DQ game, interesting vocations (human and monsters) but very grindy, a lot of walking, in boss battles either it's too easy or you get fucked in the ass because you fucked up your build. Better than DQ6 for sure, but the beginning of the game is really slow it might turn off the average gamer.
I ended up liking mastering vocations and getting broken hybrid skills for your party. The plot, very different too from the past 6 entries which is hella weird.
