This game had great moments but overall wasn't a great experience. Came for the characters and story and got stuck with SO. MANY. CHORES.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Orchestra World Tour Live 2024.09.08
This album was much more enjoyable than its preceding orchestral arrangement version which was quite short at only 10 tracks, whilst this one contains 21, over double the tunes! I was able to attend this concert when it was touring the states though I didn't enjoy it very much in comparison to Distant Worlds. The audience ended up being quite noisy, with people talking or not leaving their phones off, ruining the experience. I was also bummed out that the vocalist for No More Promises to Keep wasn't touring as well so we got an instrumental version, which was still nice, but it would've been spectacular to hear Loren Allred's voice in-person. Overall it was a decent experience and I didn't regret attending. It still warms my heart that I went to a concert for one of my first and favorite games.

This is a review of the single release of No More Promises to Keep. While I will not be including story spoilers for the game, I will still apply spoilers for my commentary.

I've finally listened through this gargantuan soundtrack. 207 tracks equaling 10.5 hours of music across 8 discs. Holy materia.
I felt this was an award-worthy soundtrack. Heartbreak, hype, silliness. It's all there. Some more palatable than others, some extremely forgettable. There were a few battle edits that used the same melody that became a bit repetitive or were absolute bangers but couldn't be heard over the cling-clang of combat. And others I distinctly recall drowning out the character's voices. Thank goodness for subtitles.
Overall a great soundtrack. Do I prefer it over the original? Not quite but it stands on its own merits. If I ever find the space or money, I'd add it to my physical collection.

I did not enjoy this album as much as the last one I listened to. This is the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Orchestral Arrangement album. It has 10 tracks that amounts to 54 minutes. I only favorited 4 of them so this one was a bit of a miss for me. It's not bad but it's not one that I'd recommend.

I've recently listened to this entire album. It has 38 tracks that amount to 1 hour and 19 minutes. Out of those tracks, I ended up favoriting 21 of them. The album mostly focuses on the Gold Saucer and a few mini games outside of the theme park. To be clear, you won't find any Queen's Blood music here. Overall I'd recommend the soundtrack and if you buy a physical copy from the Square Enix store, it comes with a random Cait Sith fortune which is a very fun bonus.
