I find some screencaps I took that really represent my experience with this game.

What do you mean with "Flora: Nonexistent"?

15 quintillion planets, everyone truly unique and different. 🤔

So, yeah. This game is essentially what I expected. A meaningless and boring journey through the same planet over and over again, just with different colours, slightly different plants and maybe a hazard represented with a different colour bar. However, I did find that is a very good podcast game. Everything you do is so meaningless and unimportant that you …

Ok, after a lengthy discussion about this game I decided that I needed to actually play it. :P
It's been 3-4 hours and is obvious that this game is not for me. I don't enjoy mining and crafting in games. But I'm still playing and I'm glad I am since my thinking about it has evolved and refined.

I have a lot of new games in my backlog but I really think I have to return to No Man's Sky for a bit. With the new updates I need to experience first hand what has changed, and if I will enjoy the changes as much as I enjoyed my original time with the game.

I got this game as a gift, and I knew it was pretty divisive going into it. I've played for a decent amount of hours, and I'm still really enjoying it. I can understand complaints that it grows monotonous, but I hear the same complaints every time I fall in love with a new Animal Crossing game, so maybe my …

Alright world, I'm completely sucked into No Man's Sky now. If you played and quit before the big update, you should definitely try it again even if hat means starting over. Building and cultivating your own base (that you can teleport back to easily) makes all the difference

While this game surely has it's flaws, flying around through space and exploring was more than enough to keep me entertained for 90+ hours. I never made it do the center, but I will probably come back to this after the game is updated.

Well, the time has come to put No Man's Sky down. Not for a lack of fun. I am still enjoying myself immensely. However, I feel I must force myself to take a break and move on to some other titles for a time. If don't force myself I fear I many never stop playing NMS. I have also finally …
Well, the time has come to put No Man's Sky down. Not for a lack of fun. I am still enjoying myself immensely. However, I feel I must force myself to take a break and move on to some other titles for a time. If don't force myself I fear I many never stop playing NMS. I have also finally given it a rating. If I could assign half stars I would give No Man's Sky 4.5, simply because it is a phenomenal game with room for growth. That half star is what I think it will likely earn over the course of time through updates. But given I must assign whole stars, and given my enjoyment of the game, it warrants five stars on Grouvee.
I will leave the game on my currently playing shelf, as have no doubt that I will return periodically for some more relaxing space exploration sessions. However, it is time to move on to some other games on my backlog for a bit. First up, Assassin's Creed Syndicate.
