Grand Theft Auto V is a vast open world game set in Los Santos, a sprawling sun-soaked metropolis struggling to stay afloat in an era of economic uncertainty and cheap reality TV. The game blends storytelling and gameplay in new ways as players repeatedly jump in and out of the lives of the game’s three lead characters, playing all sides of the game’s interwoven story.

I decided to give this another go after playing it at launch. Needless to say, I am enjoying it though it is frustratingly slow in places and requires a good level of patience between missions.

Only played online and just played the campaign for the first time after like 10 years. Enjoyed it, eventhough it's normally not my cup of tea.

Losing your wanted level in this game SUCKS. In my opinion, GTA IV did it best. Once you get out of their area of search, your wanted level goes away pretty quickly. Chinatown Wars also had a great wanted level system and it encouraged you to be aggressive when cops are in pursuit.

But in GTA V, it takes FOREVER …

Losing your wanted level in this game SUCKS. In my opinion, GTA IV did it best. Once you get out of their area of search, your wanted level goes away pretty quickly. Chinatown Wars also had a great wanted level system and it encouraged you to be aggressive when cops are in pursuit.

But in GTA V, it takes FOREVER for your wanted level to go down. I swear I have to wait 30-45 seconds (or even longer) for it to go away after I disappear from their line of sight. Makes cop evasion feel monotonous which is not a good thing for a GTA game...

Grand Theft Hamlet is a movie set during the COVID-19 pandemic about 2 actors setting up a production of Hamlet within GTA Online. I saw this in theaters today for the novelty of a movie being entierly shot within a video game and it's decent. A lot of it feels staged and the filmmakers could go beyond with how they shot it as they used third and first person and the camera from the in-game phones and could have used Rockstar Editor instead. The HUD should have been turned off for the entire movie. The most shocking thing to me is that they got the voice actor of Pharah from Overwatch in this, which, say what you will about her regarding her stance on the Isreali-Palestine conflict, it is such a wild revelation to see a voice actor from a game be in this. I had such a suspension of disbelief moment when it came to her. ParTeb is the GOAT.

A wonder of the gaming industry, rightly indeed!

I am among the ones that picked up GTA V pretty darn late, and the wait was worth it. The immersion of story, the freedom - hallmark of Rockstar games, and the sheer amount of stuff that I can do, still in 2024 blows my mind. If you haven't played GTA V …

I am among the ones that picked up GTA V pretty darn late, and the wait was worth it. The immersion of story, the freedom - hallmark of Rockstar games, and the sheer amount of stuff that I can do, still in 2024 blows my mind. If you haven't played GTA V yet, you must. It is that part of history that you cannot miss.

And then comes GTA online, takes it to the next level to keep you engaged even post the story mode. Whether you are a hardcore gamer, or a casual gamer who likes to play post work to chill - Perfecto!

Played some GTAV with my client during our session when we ran out of things to talk about. Reminded me I need to finish the campaign.

This game is crazy! A sandbox game where you can do whatever you want. There are countless things to do in this game from driving around to a strip club XD. The missions are super fun and everything from the driving to the shooting is awesome. You will never run out of things to do.

Replaying the story once more in the PS5 upgraded edition. Pretty impressed with the updates, it looks very crisp in 4k and the HDR adds a lot! Especially the sunrises/sunsets look incredible with it.

The atmosphere, the gameplay, characters and graphics in this game are just too good for a game that releases like a decade ago. The only downside of this game is that the story doesn't seem interesting enough for me to replay it multiple times except for the part where the mysteries in the game kick in.

Having a blast with this one so far. Up until this point my only GTA experiences were trying to outrun cops on a friend's PS2 Vice City. So this is my first time doing actual missions and advancing the story. The characters in the game are great and I never mind switching. Nearly all the missions are fun except the Rampages are super difficult, and I really didn't like the ones where the characters hallucinate and have to fend off aliens and clowns.
