Sooooo I got a new video on ULTRAKILL ACT II released yesterday and it is by far my fastest growing video to date. A milestone has been reached today, and it is that it is the first video of mine to reach 100 views within a day. One thing I adore is how the game gives subtle hints to its hidden mechanics. The coin mechanic is the root to all of this. The terminal may teach you how to shoot core ejects with hitscans or how hitscans can ricochet off coins, but then you piece stuff together. "Rail cannons are hitscans(except for the screwdriver). So what if I shoot a coin with it?" "If the malicious face has the same beam as the red rail cannon and I can shoot coins with the rail cannon, maybe I can toss a coin at the head's beam and it will bounce off the coin. Oh damn. It worked. So maybe it can shoot a core eject? Oh that also worked." "What if I used my coins to ricochet to the core grenade?" It's such a genius way of making the player understand the game and becoming all the more better and stylish. It prods the player's imagination as they keep learning new tricks.

6-1's music goes so hard. My favorite non-boss music in the game by far. The part where you go down the small hole sent chills down my spine. That Glory motif hits hard for me as a someone who has been following this game for almost 2 years. And the part where Gabriel monologues as it builds up the the final arena of 2 hideous masses and a Castle Vein remix? Kino.

Gabriel's 2nd battle was too easy, but that maight be due to me being too experienced(200 hours). His dialogue and a shortcut to the boss go extremely hard. Gianni does such a good job here. And with that voice crack on "ReLiSh"? Cherry on the top. And the ending of ACT II where Gabriel kills the Council. Such prose, and the name reveal for ACT III: GODFIST SUICIDE. Godlike name.

Like the slightly older cousin that is DOOM Eternal, it is an innovative evolution of weaponry and movement forming a chemistry polished to perfection, subverting the tropes of old and meshing them with the new.

ULTRAKILL ACT II affirms my opinion that ULTRAKILL is far more than just a boomer shooter. Like the slightly older cousin that is DOOM Eternal, it is an innovative evolution of weaponry and movement forming a chemistry polished to perfection, subverting the tropes of old and meshing them with the new.

The Whiplash is further expanded with the grapple points to help make you feel stylish, it led to to a ton of tricks that I'm definitely putting in a video. Not only that, but it is given more interactivity now that is able to interact with coins and pull core ejects that while not too practical, expands the style that ULTRAKILL exudes.

The Rocket Launcher makes tricks like core sniping and having Malicious Heads charge beam rockets and is its own beast in terms of complexity thanks to V1 being able to ride it. Also it is the coolest way to shockwave coins.

WRATH finally strikes that perfect balance between wide open areas and tight, claustrophobic arenas.

ULTRAKILL pushes players to be even more stylish now that one of the most common enemies in the later game is invulverable to most explosions like projectile boosts or core ejects. A change of how the style meter works in this regard.

Also, HERESY goes extremely hard as it builds up to Gabriel as we see him change from someone self righteous to a man filled with burning hatred.

As updates release, ULTRAKILL is getting closer and closer to being my favorite game for it is peak gaming. As per usual, I await what Hakita pulls off next with utmost excitement.

Got another new video on ULTRAKILL out now!

Just in time for Hakita's birthday. This one is shorter than my previous video, but is more polished in editing and some of these clips were even more crazy. Just a short video with a cute structure. Also, this is easily my favorite thumbnail that I have made just for the limitation workaround since the skeleton of the model has no rigged fingers so I gave V1 thumbs up flicking the coins alone.

Even after 180 hours of this short game in early access, I'm having a new way of fun thinking up of ideas for stylish tricks. Still a top 5 game and it is going to stay that way for a long time.

Tossing coins on bounce pads to reflect charge beams.

Shooting out a core eject from your shotgun so an enemy's charge beam can shoot it, exploding it and killimg the enemies surrounding it.

Using explosives to push back projectiles.

Punching an enemy so hard and pulling them back just to shoot their weakspot which causes an explosion.

Ayo. Kino FPS made it into a show at "E3". You motherfuckers better be playing this shit cuz you are missing out right now.

I was worried that this weapon would make the explosives redundant since we already have a lot to do like core ejects, over pumps, projectile boosts, and core eject snipes from the shotgun. The rocket launcher only damaging enemies on direct contact really makes it more of a sniper while waiting for the rail gun so that makes it different from the projectile boost mechanic. Really cool alt fire where rockets are stationary as it can lead to setups and combos with the sniping from hit scans and the nail gun for where the rockets will go. The sniping seems much easier than the core eject, but I'm betting the blast radius will be smaller. I'm already good at core eject sniping so whatever. It'tl be so easy to use an explosive to counter a Malicious Face's beam attack now that you don't need to time your shots.

OH MY GOD! BOTH WRATH AND HERESY?!? HAKITA, I LOVE YOU!
