How Long Is Janosik?
Kinda cute
This is a retro metroidvania game about some sort of Polish Robin Hood figure. Not my thing, but it has tight controls and infinite lives. It seems to be a one-man effort and is free on Steam and GOG. If you like hard platforming games there are worse ways to spend ~2 hours.
Really tightly designed MV that I can’t believe is free
This games reminds me most of Transiruby, with extremely satisfying level design that is tightly interconnected with zero wasted space. The overall tone is cute and silly, and the controls have a specific retro jankiness. The visuals are very rudimentary but work!
It’s about 5 hours start to finish, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Can’t wait for the sequel
