Good total war game

Its another Total war game. So its a great game. A few improvements since the previous games, but nothing too major. Downside for me was that the historical time period of the Egyptians does not interest me as much as some of the other games. But that is purely personal taste

Haven't played a historical Total War in a while, which is definitely my preference over fantasy Total War games.

The campaign map mechanics are good - diplomacy, religion, faction specific mechanics and the court. The battles are not that interesting to me - I think I am not a fan of the unit roster available here. …

Haven't played a historical Total War in a while, which is definitely my preference over fantasy Total War games.

The campaign map mechanics are good - diplomacy, religion, faction specific mechanics and the court. The battles are not that interesting to me - I think I am not a fan of the unit roster available here. I might come back to revisit this one another time.

I hope they revisit a medieval or empire setting again in the future.
