Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley is a musical adventure game in which Snufkin needs to restore the harmony of Moominvalley, after a series of grotesque parks has appeared and ruined the valley's natural balance. The game is an ambient and wholesome experience for both kids and adults, and combines open world-mechanics with puzzles, stealth and melodic elements.

It's exactly as you'd expect it to be,a charming,collect-a-thon,in which you're helping various colorful npcs from the series. It short and sweet. Also filling the valley with crime (antidisestablishmentarianism)

This game is just as adorable as I’d hoped it would be! Also really enjoy that I can play it in my first language for once, as my Moomin memories are all with those names and stuff.

I've already ordered Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley, Unicorn Overlord and Princess Peach: Showtime! so my March will be pretty busy as it is. I bought them all for Switch which I might regret because my partner and I will be fighting over the Switch for play time, lol!

Incidentally, Dragon's Dogma II is out on 22 March for those interested. I still need to try to replay the first one before I decide if I want to give the second a go.

So the Autumn Steam Next Fest is on, and I know one game I’ve been dying to try. But other than the must play title Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley, does anyone have any demo recommendations? I’ll post my own if I come across anything worthwhile.

Whaaaaat? A new Moomin game? I've been dying for someone to make a contemporary Moomin related game. This looks super cute! Hyped for this, immediately going on my wish list for 2023.
