First off, I haven't really played the games that this was based off of. I played a demo for Gangsters or Gangsters 2 back in the day. I remember it having weir Commando-like UI interface where you'd click on objects and stuff. Fortunately, this game is much more streamlined and there isnt anything like that. Unfortunately, its a convoluted influence-spreading sim game. It would be nice if you had better visual feedback of how you were converting buildings over. IT's also a chore managing items and stuff. You can plan additional 'workers' to be automated delivery drivers and the tutorial teaches you this, but be warned: you run out of money, everyone will not work, and you get stuck more or less as your businesses fail. This wouldnt be so bad if the save game worked like a normal save system... Autosave my ass... after losing 2 hours of game play I wrote this one off. It's tolerable but its not that engaging, and the strategy element seems thin here. I also had an issue where my basement beer factory kept produing too much malt, resulting in running of space. Supposedly you can drop items. I saw it once. Somewehre. After looking for it for a while I gave up. Wasn't the Chaos Overlords or city sim game I was hoping it would be.
