Beat on normal. A side scrolling shoot em up where the combat is melee is novel. I did like the tactical aspect of whether to melee or throw your spear and how the weapon blocks projectiles. Read moreBeat on normal. A side scrolling shoot em up where the combat is melee is novel. I did like the tactical aspect of whether to melee or throw your spear and how the weapon blocks projectiles. The overall shoot em up level design leaves a bit to be desired. I did not like the fighting game style boss fights. I dislike fighting games enough as it is but this game does not allow you to do anything other than basic melee attacks and jump. Enemies get ranged shots and block. It was not fun at all and took a lot of save states to beat. The axe guy was the hardest part by far, even harder than the final boss.
