The game features two main characters and changes some of the previous game's systems.
A new crafting feature, called Enchanting Agents, was added to the Synthesis system.
6 characters participate in combat, each attacker can have a support characters to help out, and you can now craft items while in combat.

Something that surprised me about this specific title is that it has a cartoonish feel and look (more so than usual) and for some reason I didn't really like the main characters. Something else I noticed is that this is probably the longest Atelier game I've ever played, it took me dozens of hours to finish this game, this game simply refused to end.
