Finally got to play the model building game in Last Call BBS.
I've procrastinated this one as I expected it to be slow and chore-like. Got pleasantly surprised.
The sound when the parts click in is quite satisfying, the assembly doesn't take that much time.
And most surprisingly: painting is realistic. There is no brush size, no undo, no fill …
Finally got to play the model building game in Last Call BBS.
I've procrastinated this one as I expected it to be slow and chore-like. Got pleasantly surprised.
The sound when the parts click in is quite satisfying, the assembly doesn't take that much time.
And most surprisingly: painting is realistic. There is no brush size, no undo, no fill bucket tool. Just a paint spray, masking tape and pin wash.
Also, I imagined I'd assemble the model and then just paint it like a coloring book. But with the above limitations in mind, it's actually more engaging, because painting separate parts is easier.
