There isn't anything special here but I was driven to finish it which is a rarity for me. Note: I have not played a Valkyrie game prior. I also played through on easy because...well I don't have patience.

There isn't anything special here but I was driven to finish it which is a rarity for me. Note: I have not played a Valkyrie game prior. I also played through on easy because...well I don't have patience.
The combat was fluid and fun.. I appreciated the elemental weaknesses being easily shown and the objective always having a marked. It does make it kind if linear and the level design within a chapter was repetitive but it got the job done. The camera acted strange at times and the MC voice acting was uninspired (although maybe that was by design?). I enjoyed the sidekicks and the pacing.
But OMG the ending! I actually kept playing because I wanted to see where it ended...but OMG to dance around grand themes and end where it did...
