Very competent game, technically impressive, runs great on a potato PC. It’s linear and the levels are designed as short bursts with nice variety in enemies and situations. Tons of fun with physics, nice graphics, serviceable story, though it makes references to the original NES game a lot which I haven’t played.

Tons of fun with physics, nice graphics, serviceable story, though it makes references to the original NES game a lot which I haven’t played.

People hated it for some reason? Well good thing it doesn’t end on a cliffhanger and doesn’t set the story up for a sequel because it’s never going to happen.

I wasn't expecting to like this, but I do. The story and protagonist are both bland, but once I got the hang of the gameplay it whas been a lot of fun.
