Finishing the story arc with a bit of a whimper
This review is for the PlayStation 2 version

The game quality is exactly the same as the other 3 games, so that's consistent. I felt like there were still a lot of unanswered questions in the plot. I'm wondering if the Liminality OVA fills in those gaps, so I'll watch those, but I'm just judging these games as they were released.

My favorite part of the story was using different people in my party to get Emails from them and learn about who they were in real life. It helped humanize a lot of the characters when the only real character that gets development in story cutscenes is BlackRose.

My ranking of the series: Mutation > Infection > Quarantine > Outbreak

Anybody know why .hack//QUARANTINE (Part 4) is so expensive? It's going for something like $300 CAD (CIB). The other games are much cheaper.
