It was a nice, short and light hearted puzzle game. I liked the theme of alchemy and its mixed elements of different cultures in each section. It had puzzles I hadn't encountered before in other games and they're logical. I did use a guide for a part of the steam puzzle (I wasn't patient enough). Using the potions is interesting. The aesthetics are nice as well. I would play the next one in the series.

It could use some polishing as I did encounter a bug at the start where I couldn't click or make potions anymore, reloading or relaunching the game had resolved it. There's a strange behavior to know about: whenever you load a game, your inventory is cleared from certain items like the cube, the wand and the potions. The cube can be found at the entrance to your left, the wand with the blue tip would be back to its book in the basement, and you'll have to rebrew the potions. It also seems that some achievements need to be done within the same play session for them to count. The card one is fine, you do get it over different play sessions. I noticed that I got the brewing all potions one after I've done them in one go (I didn't get it when I had brewed the last obtainable potion although I brewed all the previous ones). I didn't pursue the rest, but I'll mention that I didn't get the ones where you read all the letters or inspect all the objects. I'm not sure if I missed anything for those, but I was looking around the rooms every time a new section was discovered. I was still able to enjoy solving the puzzles despite those issues and would recommend it for a quick playthrough.
