Main game

This was just what it said it would be and I loved that. The format is golden. I got to see pretty art, enjoy a story, save the world, chat up a stable of potential mates and eventually woo a succubus, befriend monsters then subjugate them, grow planties, craft things, be the most important person in a small village.
Criticisms:
Those two points lose stars for this game but I'm giving one back for my overall enjoyment of it. Basically if you love a farming/dating/light-action-adventure SIM this is the game for you.
I've beaten the story and selected my spouse but I have to secure her and I have a million farm things I haven't completed. I was in the middle of leveling up my fields (second crop of vegetables) when I ran into wanting to beat the story. I might never come back to do these things but that does not diminish my appreciation …

Was juggling this with Blue Prince for about a week but then ended up playing nothing but Blue Prince for the last few weeks. As I'm winding down that game, rather than come back to this one now I'm officially putting it on pause until my Switch 2 arrives, and hoping the load times won't be so interminable there...
After 65 hours I'm done with Rune Factory 5 main story.
I liked it a lot and it's better than Rune Factory 4 in some ways (bless the remove of RNG for characters event), but at the same time they have been lazy with some features such as the furniture system and the terribile framerate.
I still have many things to do such as marry Martin, other post game activities and take care of my vegetables whenever I want to relax, but I hope the next Rune Factory game will do more than repeat the good things RF4 gave us.
The game has its own charm and Alice/Areas are a kind of MC I would like to see more in RPGs. You can choose some things for them, but at the same time they have a personality and dialogues on their own.
I got to start at 11 pm the day before release. Fufufu... but then I couldn't stay awake and had to shelf it for sleep.
Is this just the RF:4 switch remaster? SOOOO disappoint if it is.
