Artful reminiscence

Played this sweet little Indie with my 12 year old daughter. Was able to play it through in 2 sessions (following a rather frustrating glitch which forced us to restart). The artwork is stunning, it offers around 70% of the value and the story the other 30%. There is not much to the gameplay, simple point and click for the most part however the scrapbooking was a lovely creative way to deliver bespoke playthroughs. Definitely worth a play when you are in the mood for something sentimental and dreamy.

I absolutely fell in love with the visuals of this game, and it is absolutely incredible! The sound is nice too, and everything is kinda cozy and nice.

However, I had a hard time coming back to this to finish it. I'm quite intrigued by the main character's adult story and all that is interesting to see how to deal with the issue, but I don't care so much for the nostalgic flashbacks with the kid; it feels like a very childish type of gameplay.

Unfortunately, as well, the gameplay does nothing for me on the Switch. All the little things feel super awkward and unintuitive if u don't have a mouse and don't really add anything to the experience except nuisance.

Also, damn, people need to stop using mocap so aggressively, it really brings me out of the beautiful handmade art.

A lovely adventure game that focuses on narration, with a lovely pictorial style, and tells the story of a woman dealing with her past, the memories of her grandmother and the summers she spent hanging out in Dordogne. I played it with Daughter, we had lots of fun with its story, we loved the fascinating scenery and It reminded me of the best Pixar stuff, the one that can really be appreciated in different ways depending on your age and experiences and always be emotional and moving. Anyway, I like this recent genre I could call “French indie games that try to be original while talking about the human condition”. Also, we finally were able to play a French game in French language!

I loved the relationships that were explored and felt like the ending was a wonderful way to wrap up the storylines that were being told. While some of the controls weren’t super smooth for some interactions, the puzzles were simple but effective and still fun play through. I really enjoyed being able to make your own scrapbook to capture the main character’s memories of her journey. It was short and sweet and overall a good time

It also offers a universal biography that touches our hearts and soul, as much through this summer stroll as through the search for memories. Our only regret is that it only lasts 3 hours at most. Its accessibility will allow everyone to follow in Mimi's footsteps and gaze with marvel at the promises of a more indulgent world.

The French never disappoint Oui???

Cute linear narrative game. Very short I would definitely buy it on sale. But the watercolor effects alone was just nice to immersion and get lost in. It has a great lesson in it and for that I give it a four.
