I see Crysis 2 as the weakest of the bunch, it is still a solid game but it lost that which made Crysis 1 special, and that is huge open areas.

There is not much to say about the sequel, the gunplay is better and the suit is still the same which is good, but the biggest downside is how linear it is. No more huge open green jungle areas, now grey/brown linear New York City. I guess they did this because of console releases, but it really lost it's soul. It is more polished for sure, the AI, gunplay, stealth and all got better but the game is not Crysis anymore, and the decision to make it this way is a bad one. You can now upgrade your suit which is a plus, but at one point you can upgrade your stealth to the point you can just march through levels like nothing. In the first one it made sense, there is an objective on this huge map, you decide how you will enter, you complete the objective you get out. If you did all this stealthily you felt like you accomplished something, but here as the game is linear and most of the time you just need to go from point A to B you just cloak and walk through the level...and that's it, you don't really get that feeling like you did something.

I still think this game is good, it has it's positives, the action is great and walking through all the destruction is fun and would recommend it, but just don't expect Crysis 1, it's more like Call of Duty.
