Alright, this game is as 100% as it's gonna be. There's 3 "multiplayer" achievements that cannot be obtained in local co-op, which sucks, but otherwise it's done. 57/60 achievements. Extreme difficulty was kind of a cakewalk, honestly. Anyway, that's the end of Strange Brigade for good, unless I eventually find a way to play online and get those last few …

Great game though, really hope they make a sequel. We need more arcade like stuff like this.

About a mission and a final boss fight from being done with this on Extreme difficulty (and thusly 100%ing the single player achievement list) and I've realized that this isn't even hard, and that the few times it's seemingly "challenging" isn't because it is hard, it's because this games idea of "difficult" isn't changes to its core mechanics, it's simply …

Absolute bullshit. That being said, most of the game has been a cakewalk other than really the end of this one mission, and probably the final boss.

Welp, that's every collectible in Strange Brigade done. 55 of 60 achievements total thusfar.
If 2022 was the year of beating things, 2023 is gonna be the year of doing a singular playthrough of each of these games again (the ones that require it anyway) on the hardest difficulty. I have a list of games that basically require a hard …

If 2022 was the year of beating things, 2023 is gonna be the year of doing a singular playthrough of each of these games again (the ones that require it anyway) on the hardest difficulty. I have a list of games that basically require a hard playthrough, including Strange Bridge, Shantae Pirate's Curse, Death's Door - the umbrella only run - plus finishing my MCC Legendary runs, Back4Blood Nightmare runs among a ton of others.
I feel like I won't be playing a lot of new stuff in 2023, and instead will simply be doing cleanup, which will be a nice change of pace. This year was great for me, gaming wise, but boy howdy was it crowded. I played so. many things this year, and it'll be a nice change of pace to simply put on some podcasts and do cleanup for things instead.

Holy CRAP this is a TON of fun. Very arcade like with a simple straight forward plot in the background and a whole lot of humor (I love stuff with narrators). This is everything I want out of games these days. I'm so sick of deep, complex storytelling in gritty realistic environments. Let me shoot mummies and have fun, gosh …

This game is just plain, simple fun. It's about as deep as the pulpy stories it pays homage to.
It's 75% off in Steam, don't know for how long. I reccomend picking it up, mostly cause I need a team of adventurers to play with & who better than some Grouvee people?
