Remaster of Duke Nukem 3D: Atomic Edition

Excellent level design, interesting and varied visuals and locales, fun weapons, plenty of enemy variety, and cool music. Still a great time today.

I got this for $2 during a Steam Sale, and it was worth every penny. It was fun to revisit the nostalgia. I was delighted that the achievements were well thought out and fun to obtain.
The original scared the shit out of me when I was little. And, with this rerelease, I can confirm it still does. The enemies and sound design are more hell-like than fucking Doom, and the levels tend to be more claustrophobic and darker (illumination-wise)
Gaming junk food at its best. Is Duke Nukem PC? No. Does Duke Nukem stick out in the overly sensitive times we live in? Perhaps. Is Duke Nukem a hell of a lot of fun? You bet. This was such a solid $5 buy from the eShop. What's great is you can play any level you want to, make it as hard or as easy as you'd like, and just have fun.
