Compare to it's predecessor Aquanox 2 is much more 'in-depth' and thought through game. I really enjoyed the story and the way the game is portrayed/presented. It has much less 'childish' /sorry childs/ moments, unique and very immersive gameplay even though besides of the outsides of.. the submarine the only thing you'll see are nicely drawn art, pubs, machinery.. things futuristic - it manages to keep you engaged more so then Aquanox 1.

Game has deeper story, more realistic color palettes compare to the first game, as usual big underwater vistas, although there's nothing to do or find in them, it's completely on rails. However, for the time the game really expanded my gaming library due to its uniqueness alone
