I love Spongebob and this game did a great job of making the game feel like its in the show. The platforming is super fun and the different areas you visit are great for exploring. The characters are voiced by their respective voice actors in the show which is fun. The game also looks really nice. Overall, a really fun …

Better for kids. Gameplay very simple and rustic. Co-op game is the worst

Had a lot of fun, but the game probably wouldn't have stood out if this was my first contact with it. In some cases, I found the new animations and sounds to be inferior (or straight lack of animations, like with the teleport boxes). Was a fun diversion from the heavier, "serious" vibes of other games I've been playing, and a nice plat for the collection. (Younger me would be very proud!)

I haven't played a game based off a cartoon or movie since the SNES days (since there were just so many games based on cartoons and movies back then) but this remaster came with PS+, and I figured, hey why not?

I can't believe how much fun I'm having in this game. I never played the original on PS2, though, and I understand the remaster was a little low effort (according to other reviewers). But for someone like myself who never played the original, it feels awesome and it's a great little collect-a-thon 3D platformer (which is my all time favorite genre, and also one that is quite low in solid titles), with the usual Spongebob charm thrown in.
All in all, for the price of $0 on PS+, I'm stoked to keep playing this one! Just the injection of happiness I need.
