KvK is a turn-based strategy in which you place workers on locations to gather & spend resources, increase your amount of workers and do research. It's very similar to Agricola, but without the various cards. You win by outnumbering the opponent by three, building the wonder, killing the opponents workers, completing the final research or by figuring out the secret victory (i think).

You can play solo as one of four races against an AI of one of four difficulties. There's also a hotseat/online option. And there's the "story mode", which is just solo but without a ton of unskippable dialogue and the inability to really win unless you get the secret ending.

Review

There is no tutorial, just 5 pages of rules that don't explain everything. The game is mildly amusing for about half an hour, but that's about it. I tried the "story mode" (really just a single mission) a few times but never managed to find the secret ending. KvK is worth trying out if you got it for free, and it might be fun to play with friends. Otherwise i wouldn't recommend it. There's just not enough content.
