Voice of Cards: The Forsaken Maiden is a RPG set on a remote chain of islands that have been protected by the maidens for generations, but which now face destruction. This series is really captivating me
This review is for the PC (Microsoft Windows) version
Having played the first game I had high hopes going into the second and wasn't disappointed! The story is just as rich, emotionally involved and well told. The combat was pitched at the right level to keep me thinking without being completely overwhelming when I got it wrong and the style or a card-based story RPG is just chef's kiss
The one little niggle I had was there were a few what seemed like "retakes" of narrated lines left in that start twice before carrying on and that was a little jarring, hopefully it'll get fixed.
