I started out pretty impressed, the frame-by-frame gruesome animations are striking and I could tell a lot of effort went into it. But the game just very slowly became tedious and frustrating.

The combat gets repetitive (as this combo style tends to for me). The map is crazy buggy (after patches) - it straight up erases your progress. Lots of weird cut corners too, like secret rooms on the map are painted in with an ms paint brush and certain particle effects are the wrong resolution. The dialogue and jokes just feel immature and weird. Lots of middle school humor.

There were some good moments, with certain secrets having fun challenges and one biome felt very well designed. But I felt pretty ready to be done by the end.
