This game makes me miss the era of gaming where you got a huge roster of characters in the base game. Main issue with this game is that it's on a handheld, but it's soul calibur on the go and it works. Character customization is good. My biggest issue is that the single player story is pretty not great. Light hearted story connected through a series of challenges rather than actual matches.

It's basically Soul Calibur 4 without a story mode and without the slow combat of Soul Calibur 4. For a PSP game it's pretty good. enter image description here
