- 2D Metroidvania with light RPG elements
- One of the best looking games I've ever played. Pixel-art masterclass
- Core combat feels great and weighty, with good enemy variety
- Some very poorly designed systems severely hurt the game (consumables, subweapons, inventory menus, controls)
- Every dungeon in the game is way too large. Maze layouts and sheer size make coming back for secrets or side quests unfun.
- Many technical problems (softlocks, controller config bugs, one crash)
(reviewed after 100% playthrough on hard mode)
