Monsters vs. Aliens is a 2009 video game based on the film with the same name. The game was released on March 24, 2009 on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, PlayStation 2, and Wii. The game, developed by Beenox on all platforms except the Nintendo DS which was developed by Amaze Entertainment, allows users to play through scenes from the movie as Ginormica, B.O.B., and The Missing Link, and features drop-in/out co-op. A significant feature has Reese Witherspoon, Seth Rogen, Will Arnett, and Rainn Wilson reprising their roles from the movie, however Hugh Laurie & Kiefer Sutherland do not, they are replaced by James Horan & Fred Tatasciore respectively. This is the last DreamWorks Animation game to be released for PlayStation 2. It is also the last DreamWorks Animation game to be developed by Beenox. Read less

If you ever decide to try this game on PC, be wary that disc versions ( or at least my disc version ) will constantly break/ corrupt your save game, possibly due to trying to run it on modern systems. ALWAYS BACKUP YOUR SAVED GAME AFTER EVERY ONE OR TWO LEVELS Your saved game is located under "Documents/ Activision/ Monsters vs. Aliens ( TM )/ Save". Copy the "MVA_Save. fpop" file into separate folder. If the game tells you about corrupted save state while loading, turn the game off and copy the backup into the "Save" folder of the game.
