Read moreI absolutely adored these kinds of things growing up. I didn't really have consoles or any video games outside of my Gameboy SP until early high school, but my family did have a Gateway PC that I was allowed to use a bit each day. Leaving alone that growing up with the internet during the 90s was a wild experience to say the least, going further into the 2000-10s, the absolute explosion of internet games and media that occurred provided me with countless hours of entertainment. The Henry Stickmin Collection is something that essentially captures the sort of fun I had during those times. It's very silly and very dumb but I genuinely enjoyed it. This series started and took off around the time I focused less on PC flash games and got my first consoles around 2008-09 so I didn't have the pleasure of enjoying it during its "prime" time. I'm sure I would have loved it even more back then and keeping up with it's releases, though I'm also glad I got to experience it all at once.
