The remake changes include: Character designs and event illustrations have been revamped, 2D animations have added and there are now 3D models of characters and stages. The tutorial and navigation of the game’s features have been expanded and improved. The methods of moving around the city and collecting items in the field has been modified to meet modern-day demands, making it more comfortable and easier to play. The new Unlimited Mode, which allows you to play at a more relaxed pace by removing the five year deadline, and the addition of new events that enable interactions with new characters. Read less

Very excited to have played this one. However, it was 100% the early toe into these games and they have improved a lot since. It's easy to miss events and the alchemy feels too simple, the zones limiting and the characters like you just want a little more. But this was a great blueprint that led to the later games. …

Very excited to have played this one. However, it was 100% the early toe into these games and they have improved a lot since. It's easy to miss events and the alchemy feels too simple, the zones limiting and the characters like you just want a little more. But this was a great blueprint that led to the later games. Marie herself i found charming. I had a bit of a hard time adjusting to some of the bindings on this. I was consistently opening the wrong menu and the screenshot window. There are some events i locked myself out of as I missed time frames or killed an enemy with the wrong party member. The chibi art style is polarising for me. It was likely the best way to go for a recreation but i am fond of pixel art over it. Regardless glad i played this one. And it only took a few hours.
