A game undeservedly missing without a sequel...
This review is for the PC (Microsoft Windows) version
It's driving, it's challenging, it's cinematic... and it doesn't work well on modern systems in some aspects.
However, this does not prevent you from enjoying it at least once... maybe twice... Again, the game is unique in its own way, and those who tried to follow in its footsteps did not find much success, and the sequel got lost during bureaucratic problems, so the chances of us seeing it are almost nonexistent, and the story only began to unravel towards the very end...
If you have free evening or two and you love racing games - try it.

After playing it for an extended period of time, I think it is a great game and would recommend it to anyone who is on the fence and loves racing games. Unfortunately, the candle on this game burns out a little too quickly, with only a few modes supported for online play. If you are a fan of arcade racers then make sure you don't miss out on this title. If you aren't a fan of that type of racer be sure to try out this title anyways as this might be the one that turns you into that fan.
My save-file got corrupted halfway through the game. Apparently, I was supposed to create a backup of it or play until autosave magically repairs itself in 1-2 chapters. Since this is a pretty known issue on the forums, that totally avoided me until now, I wish Steam would pop-up an alert or something before you spend money on a broken game. The gameplay is good though, so I will probably swallow my pride and start again when I cool down a bit. In my childhood, this probably wouldn't have angered me so much, as it is now.
